Final Statement: These are all my filled in flats for the final phase of this project. i used organic shapes in all my flats and clothing on my figures to evoke the theme of rounded fruit. I used my engineered orange segment print in two colours and my pomegranate wallpaper print in both colour ways and in two different scales. I also included some of the prints from the print process in phase two. I think that the prints and accessories fit in well with the theme.

I also like this piece as digital illustration inspiration. The silhouette is interesting and could work well for children’s wear because its whimsical and storybook like.

I thought this piece was nice inspiration for the more abstracted digital illustration that we’re doing in this phase. I like the painterly quality and the grounding of the figure with the background.

I am looking at all of these fashion illustration styles to inform my creative figure for phase 3 of this project. i think that the linear quality in most of them lends itself well to filling with prints. I think the simplicity is also very appropriate for children’s wear.
